Jennifer is passionate about her Christian faith, being a wife to her husband of 30+ years, and a mom to 3 beautiful girls. 15 years ago she discovered the ancient art of Ebru and was quite intrigued.  After searching for a way to learn more, she found herself in a class in Chicago where she was taught by a master Ebru artist, having no idea what she was actually getting in to! She fell in love with the art and practiced for several years before discovering that marbling could be done on silk rather than just paper.  That led to taking the art form on the road and providing a hands-on experience for customers which led to opening a home-based studio and holding parties and special events.  Introducing people to this unique art form, helping them create a one-of-a-kind item made by their own hands, and seeing the wonder on their faces has been a joy. Today she enjoys sharing this amazing art form through videos, trainings, social media, one-of-a-kind products, and collaborations. Her mission is to cultivate creativity and joy in others.

In the Fall of 2023, I received the most incredible invitation — to collaborate with none other than Oscar de la Renta, one of the top designers in the world! I was absolutely thrilled and still in awe of the opportunity. The team selected four of my designs for their Pre-Fall 2024 collection, and it was truly an honor to be a part of such a legendary brand.

What made this collaboration even more special was that Oscar de la Renta decided to create a documentary about the making of the collection, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the entire creative process. I was fortunate enough to be featured in the documentary, showing the journey of bringing one of my designs to life. It was such an exciting experience, working alongside the talented photographer they flew in from New York City. They wanted photos directly off the water, and it was incredible to see the vision unfold. The entire process of working with the photographer and team to make sure we got every detail just right was so much fun!

The talent of the co-creative directors at Oscar de la Renta is absolutely off the charts. Their creativity and vision are unmatched, and being able to collaborate with such brilliant minds was nothing short of inspiring. The excitement continued when I was invited to New York City for the release and viewing of the collection. My husband and I visited the Oscar de la Renta store, and to our delight, right in the front window was a display of one of the dresses featuring my design. It was a surreal moment and a reminder of how truly special this entire experience has been. From beginning to end, the collaboration process was a dream come true, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work with such an iconic brand. It was not just a milestone in my career, but an unforgettable, magical experience that I will cherish forever.
