At Blue Ivy Marbling we love to celebrate all occasions! Birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, Girl Scouts, girls' night out, etc.  Any reason to gather for a fun and unique experience!

What you can expect with our marbling art parties...

​

• A brief intro to Ebru and demonstration on how the process works

• Step by step guidance on creating your masterpiece.  It's easy and fun for all ages!

• You are welcome to bring food and drinks.  We supply everything else...marbling supplies, plates, glasses, silverware, napkins, utensils, and ice

• Length of the party depends on the number of people...typically 2 hours

• 2 people will create at a time and it takes approximately 20 minutes per scarf

• It's a whole lot of fun to watch all of the scarves being created.  They all turn out unique!

How the process works...

​

You will pick out 2 to 6 paint colors.  The paints are dropped on a tray of thickened water.  A design is then created using a stylus, rakes or combs.  The silk, leather, or ornament is laid on top of the water and the design is instantly transferred.  Amazing!  If creating a scarf, it is then rinsed in a bucket of water, placed in a ziplock bag, and ready to take home.  It gets hung to dry and is then ready to iron and use as you'd like!
